Siobhan has carried on Tim’s legacy through her dedication to others, perseverance in dance, and continued commitment to the O’Hare family. Siobhan has danced for 12 years and, within those years, has shown enthusiasm and inclusivity. She has served as a classroom assistant teacher and taught private lessons. She has demonstrated her leadership as a staple at competitions at all stages, cheering on O’Hare dancers and living and dancing to a motto that: to be one's best self is to be their own, true self, as she has continued to strive to be a role model for younger dancers.
In Siobhan’s words:
Irish dancing has made me more confident in the way I carry myself and has been a constant in my life for years. I have wanted to teach others that Irish dance is more than just placements—it is community, perseverance, and excitement—and I've come to accept those as the things I most value about Irish dance and have intended to share with the O'Hare community. Cheering for others when they do well, learn a difficult step, or push through a difficult day helps me to feel like I can keep the love of Irish dance alive, the way Tim always had. I love that I get to be a part of this community that Tim created, and I am grateful to be a part of his legacy. I am so grateful for the friendships, grit, and confidence that Irish dance has provided me throughout so many wonderful years.
